Lower Back Pain: Reversing Evolution

Poor Posture of the Modern Professional leads to Tremendous Back ProblemsSlouching, leaning, rolling shoulders, let's face it, industrialized culture in the information/technological age demands us to be looking down and using our hands and fingers in ways that are supporting a reversal in postural evolution. Remember the evolution of man charts plastered up in the halls of high school memory? It showed how man evolved from a standpoint of posture; as time continues the human spine appears to straighten. The technological advancements in modern culture have threatened this trend.
Look around, or should I say look up from your social-device, the next time that you are walking in a moderately crowded area, and witness, for yourself, this trending phenomonon. People are all looking down, shoulders rolled forward, neck pressed downward. How about the office? or in your car or on the train during your commute?
It's unavoidable, tech is moving too fast to take the time to look up while we communicate for business or pleasure through our handheld and laptop devices. Currently, while I spread the message of this postural phenomenon, I myself am guilty of poor posture, sitting on the couh, watching NHL Hockey Playoffs, typing on my laptop. So instead of fighting the tech and it's place in our world or complaining about it's impact, let's embrace it and use sport to combat it.
