Client Lifts Weights After 10-Year Injury Hiatus Part I

This is what I am in the business for; stories like this.

Nine weeks ago a tall seemingly strong man, smiling from ear to ear walked into HordoN HEALTH in the North End, Boston. With a hint of charm and a faining glimmer of hope still left in his eye, he described his case and we quickly set him up with a GPI.

This client has injured his neck in highschool playing football and had had a problem ever since. Being a man that very much appreciates his body, the client took care of himself the best he could for the remainder of his life. Although he had done his best by exercising in a typical fashion, hitting the gym, running, and playing sports, his injury conitued to nag and finally moved to his lower back.

Upon suggestion by his doctor, the client stopped all physical activity that implicated the injuries and soon he was limited to light yoga, which with vigor, he continued. This began his merry-go-round of research into the task of fixing his back. Over a ten year period of time he went to a variety of experts on matters of body alignment from neurosurgeons to chiropractors, with no avail.  He walked into HordoN HEALTH describing his last experience in Chinatown that was less than comfortable to say the least.

What A Story!
Please keep an eye out for an article about this HordoN HEALTH client. Red-educating him from a sciatic nerve pinch and bulging disk in his back, this client picked up a weight for the first time in 1...
By the end of the GPI I had described to him through a series of scar tissue build ups and poor movement patterns after his original injury has caused his pain and further injuries. I described to the client how with a series of Nodroh Massage techniques for the scar tissue removal and Renegade Re-Education would rebuild him to a point at which he could lift weights again and reclaim his physical existence.

He had heard multiple "I have the solution for you..." pitches many times, but was still enthusiastic. We began his program the following day.

As of today it has been about 10 days since this client has felt any sciatic pain, and for the three weeks before prior only felt it on random occasion. For the last 7 days he has been lifting weights, and to begin the process of putting muscle mass on, has begun squating every day like a true Renegade.

He life has changed. He has reversed his age. He has reversed his vitality. He has just begun the road to find his Inner Physical Self, and this road only sees his quality of life grow every day.

Our Industry is misunderstood, underaccomplished, and undervalued. Most trainers/coaches are poor professionals because they don't have answers to serious questions. The bar has been set at HordoN HEALTH and Renegade International.

Question still remains, who wants stories that go beyond that "I lost a ton of weight" variety and into the "my life was changed by my coach?"
